Terms of Service

These terms govern use of ChrilanTech products and services, including Lyt-ning POS, Lyt-Connect, Smart Lodge, related software, and professional services.

1. Agreement and Scope

  • By using ChrilanTech products (including Lyt-ning POS, Lyt-Connect, Smart Lodge, training, and support) you agree to these Terms of Service.
  • These terms cover software access, cloud services, integrations, and any related professional services.

2. Accounts, Access, and Security

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of credentials issued to your organization.
  • Notify ChrilanTech immediately of any unauthorized access or security incidents.
  • ChrilanTech may suspend access to protect systems or data if suspicious activity is detected.

3. Billing and Subscriptions

  • Fees are charged according to your selected plan (monthly or annual) and any add-ons such as hardware, Smart Lodge, QuickBooks integration, or delivery services.
  • Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle.
  • All taxes, duties, and regulatory fees (including Smart Invoice or payment gateway charges) are your responsibility unless explicitly included.

4. Service Availability and Support

  • ChrilanTech will use reasonable efforts to provide uptime and support according to the plan you selected.
  • Planned maintenance or outages will be communicated when possible. Emergency maintenance may occur without notice to protect system integrity.
  • Offline features (such as Sales Vault) are provided to mitigate connectivity issues but still require periodic sync to ensure compliance.

5. Data, Compliance, and Privacy

  • You retain ownership of business data you enter into the platform. You grant ChrilanTech a limited license to process data to deliver the services.
  • You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including tax and labor regulations. ChrilanTech tools assist but do not replace your legal obligations.
  • ChrilanTech may collect usage analytics to improve reliability, security, and product experience. Data handling follows our privacy practices.

6. Integrations and Third Parties

  • Integrations (for example, QuickBooks, payment gateways, SMS, delivery partners) may involve third-party terms and fees.
  • ChrilanTech is not responsible for downtime, data loss, or changes introduced by third-party services.

7. Hardware and Installations

  • Hardware packages, installations, and training are subject to separate pricing and availability. Setup fees apply per store unless otherwise agreed.
  • Warranty and replacement terms are defined in your hardware quote or invoice.

8. Acceptable Use

  • Do not use the services for unlawful activity, to harm system integrity, or to infringe the rights of others.
  • ChrilanTech may suspend or terminate access for abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms.

9. Warranties and Disclaimers

  • Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ChrilanTech disclaims all implied warranties.
  • ChrilanTech does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not responsible for losses caused by third-party networks, gateways, or integrations.

10. Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, ChrilanTech's liability is limited to the fees paid for the service in the preceding three months.
  • ChrilanTech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunities.

11. Termination

  • You may terminate subscriptions at the end of a billing cycle unless otherwise specified in a separate agreement.
  • ChrilanTech may terminate or suspend access for non-payment, misuse, or material breach of these terms.
  • Upon termination, you remain responsible for any outstanding fees and compliance with applicable laws.

12. Changes to Terms

  • ChrilanTech may update these terms to reflect product changes or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
  • Continued use of the services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
